I am an engineer. Give me a whiteboard, boxes, arrows, colors, and a few numbers and I can usually find my way around. Give me six pages of status text and I will stop caring before I reach the important part.
The first dashboard tried to show everything. The plan, the infrastructure, every warning, every strategy, every market number. I had to ask a much simpler question: am I waiting, is something working, or did something break?
The boss view
The front page now leads with workers active, jobs queued, strategies researched, backtests passed, candidates still uncertain, positions open, money up or down, and API spend. Detail still exists, but it lives behind a click.
The Paper Desk shows fake cash, entries, exits, stops, targets, estimated friction, open profit or loss, and why a trade exists. The market page adds the indicators a strategy actually used instead of throwing every indicator on the screen.
I wanted to see the company
I also pulled an Archify-style interactive map into the workflow. It draws the people, machines, handoffs, risk gates, and paper ledger. I can follow an idea from a source to a test to a fake order without reading source code.
It took a couple tries. One version was trapped inside a tiny frame with a scrollbar inside another scrollbar. That got fixed because the whole point is making the system easier to understand, not showing off how much stuff it has.
