I tied for second and lost by one throw. The wild part is the 76-point swing between rounds. I played well enough to lead after round one, then gave away the tournament on the second course.

The scorecard moved the other direction on the longer layout. The eventual winner shot 66, gaining the four strokes that decided the event.

What I take from it

The first round was good enough to win. The second round was four worse than the eventual winner, and I lost the whole thing by one. That is not hard to understand, even if it sucks to look at.

I pulled the results and hole scores from the official PDGA event record. I do not remember every throw, so I am only claiming what the scorecard can back up.
