The winner beat me by 11. I was tied for eighth after both rounds. What caught my eye later was that a 69 and a 68 got different ratings. The same-looking score can mean something different on a different layout with a different field.
The scorecard
Round 1 · Circle C long
69 (+5) · 878-rated
Hole scores 1–18 · tap or hover a score for its hole number
The first round established a tie for eighth.
Round 2 · Circle C short
68 (+4) · 859-rated
Hole scores 1–18 · tap or hover a score for its hole number
The total improved by one stroke while the round rating declined because the layout and field scoring changed.
What I take from it
I stayed in the same spot across two layouts and finished in the top third. One ugly number in round two did not wreck the whole tournament.
I pulled the results and hole scores from the official PDGA event record. I do not remember every throw, so I am only claiming what the scorecard can back up.
